Discover on this short walk the rare High Brown Fritillary and other fritillaries close up in Trentishoe, Heddon Valley before the sun's warmth sets them off flying! Return back for a warm croissant and a nettle & wild mint brew.

Can I bring my dog: well behaved dogs allowed on leads. No dogs on Dangerous Dog Act 1991 & 2014 please
Can I bring my child under 5: Yes you can
Do we walk far: We walk no more than 1km / 0.6miles on the tarmac road
Is it steep: There is a 100m / 60 yards of steep uphill to spot the high brown at the Trentishoe slope. There is an alternative flat meadow we can walk to instead. Lots of butterflies there also!
What if it rains: We continue if its LIGHT DRIZZLE. 
What would cause a cancellation: Heavy rain and / or wind >40km/h
Where do I park: Outside Hunter's Inn, EX31 4PY with toilets (donation)
