Highlights
Let your excursion begin with a full day (8 hrs) in the company of Internationally renowned photographer Peter Hendrie capturing those memories of your trip to the UK, in particular Exmoor, showcasing the very best scenes and landscapes that are available to you whatever the weather. Our aim is to try and emulate what is portrayed before us, albeit a coastal vista, wooded Combe, meandering river or a moorland scene. Whatever your choice of camera, it could be a digital single lens reflex (DSLR), compact zoom, bridge camera or indeed just your mobile phone. Peter has the expertise and knowledge to help you transform an image into an extremely well executed photograph - Something that you will be proud to share with your family and friends and even visualise an image adorning a wall at home or in the office.
Tuition and Guidance from Peter, and to include a meal and light refreshments at the end of our session. Although this experience is based on a one to one tuition, it can also be tailored to a couple or two friends who share the same interests, available throughout the year whatever the season. For a group (Max 4), this experience could be tailored to suit your particular requirements, ie, to photograph a sunrise or sunset or go to a specific location, all could be discussed and planned prior to our departure.
Itinerary
We will meet at The Exmoor White Horse Inn, Exford, at 09:00am. We will drive to a chosen location and discuss how we plan to photograph the scene that unfolds before us. We will throughout the process discus how to set up our camera’(s), what settings or adjustments need to be made, talk about composition along with shooting from various angles to help showcase the scene to be captured. We will repeat this process throughout the session making further adjustments as and when needed as we move from location to location. My aim is for you to capture some memorable and breathtaking images that you will be extremely proud of and that my guidance will help you evolve further in your quest to improve your photography. Once we have finished our experience (17:00 hrs) we will return to the Inn for a meal before you depart.
For the more established photographer(s) individually or as a group we can develop the experience by making it more bespoke to fit your specific requirements - This can be discussed prior to your experience, either by email or by phone. Once the experience has concluded we will return to the Inn for something to eat and drink before you depart.
National Park Experiences is a curated collection that brings the stories of our National Parks to life. Each experience offers an authentic insight into the landscape and special qualities of a National Park.
